JM Style

The McGibney P-Bass, modeled after the Fender Precision Bass, is a solid body, four-stringed guitar with a single split-coil humbucking pickup. It’s namesake was the first electric bass to earn widespread attention and use.

The JM is modeled after the Jazzmaster, a guitar which was initially marketed to jazz guitarists, but also found favor in surf rock among many other styles. The larger body is designed for comfort, while its pickups provide a warmer, thicker tone without losing their single coil clarity. Their reverse winding helps eliminate hum typical of single coil pickups.

The T-Style is modeled after the Telecaster, the world’s first commercially successful solid-body electric guitar. Its simple design is still widely considered one of the most beautiful ever made. The T-Style is a highly versatile guitar, most widely seen in country, rock, and folk contexts but appropriate for a wide array of musical settings.

The S-Style is modeled after the guitar designed in 1954 by Leo Fender, Bill Carson, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares which has become the most commonly seen guitar in the world. Its double cutaway and versatile pickup configuration make it a highly versatile guitar, useful for most any genre.
